Tragedy Strikes
Our family is grieving the tragic death of London Valdez, a 16-year-old minor who died with higher-than-lethal levels of methamphetamine in her system and left 3 miles outside of Forgan Oklahoma on a dirt road June 7, 2025. We are standing for full accountability under Oklahoma law for any adults whose actions contributed to her death.
We call this... JUSTICE BEYOND THE DRUG
Justice Beyond the Drug is exactly that. When people see a drug name like methamphetamine, they tend to make immediate judgements. In the case of London Valdez, she was not a drug addict. She did not use meth. She was a victim of a 19 year old man manipulating her into believing he liked her more than he really did. She, like any of us at 16, was convinced to do things she did not want to do in the name of what she was told was love.
Justice looks like us holding adults, who make choices that result in the death of minors, ACCOUNTABLE!
London's story
London Johnay Valdez, 16, was from Oklahoma. She was born July 14, 2008, in Liberal, Kansas, to Brittany Valdez and Johnny Barnes.
London had a big heart for rescuing animals. She also enjoyed playing softball, listening to music and hanging out with her friends. Her biggest joy was the time she spent hiking at Red River, New Mexico or in the mountains, and driving around Ponca Lake with her mother, Brittany. London shared a special bond with her older sister, Paris, and they spent many hours sharing secrets, jokes and laughing.
London had a big heart for other people and was always there for anyone who needed her or just needed someone to listen. She was particularly kind to the “underdog”. She was very loving, kind, had a great sense of humor and a beautiful laugh. London was always putting others before herself. She was a good daughter, granddaughter, and sister and friend.
London will be forever 16 in the hearts of those who loved her.
Little London
London was always an adventurous soul. When she was little she was the first to defend anyone, especially her older sister Paris against a bully. She wanted to be outside playing and dancing or listening to her first love, Michael Jackson.

London was one of the sweetest and funniest people I’ve ever met. I remember and will forever cherish the memories we had on the field when we were younger and the friendship we had. She’s forever in my heart! ❤️ This is beautiful and I know she’s watching us and having a blast up in heaven. ❤️🩹🕊️
